New York City is home to a large number of colleges anduniversities;their libraries and other resources effectivelyenlarge the pool of resources available to the Columbia student.Rutgers,Princeton,and Yale are also within striking distance ofthe city.
Weather
As for weather,the Big Apple sees the extremes（注：
