Isn't the cloth magnificent!(相当于:How magnificent the cloth is!)

Aren't the babies lovely!(相当于:How lovely the babies are!)

Didn't I tell you they had gone?(相当于:I did tell you they had gone.)

Can't you be more careful?(相当于:You should have been more careful.)

It's a lovely day,isn't it?(相当于:It's a lovely day indeed.)

Who does not know that?(相当于:Everybody knows that.)

Can't you borrow some jewelry from a friend,Mathilde?(相当于:You can borrow some jewelry from a friend.)

Don't you think we should stop here?(相当于:We should stop here.)

Have a cup of tea,won't you?(相当于:Please have a cup of tea.)

There is no success without hardships.

One is never too old to learn.

Nothing is impossible to a willing mind.

If it were not hot today,I would go out.(相当于:It is hot today and I don't go out.)

If you hadn't watched that late movie last night.you wouldn't be so sleepy now.(相当于:You watched that late movie last night,so you are so sleepy now.)

六、含有not a little(非常)、not a few(许多)、no more than(只有)、not more than(至多)、not the less(还是、仍旧)、no/none other than(正是)、no less than(不亚于、简直)、not half(非常、极度地)、second to none(独一无二)等的句子,是语气很强的肯定旬。

In point of skength,he is second to none.

七、否定词+be+so/as…as…(或more…than…)。

No book is so interesting as this one=No book is more interesting than this one.(相当于:This book is the most interesting book of all.)

Nothing is more precious than time.
