高中英语书面表达常见错误分析论文_朱莉

摘要:高中学生在英语书面表达中的常见错误主要体现在单词运用和句型运用上。

高中英语作文是检测学生英语学习综合能力的有效方式,笔者在平时批改作文中发现学生在写作的过程当中经常会犯一些常见但又很不必要的错误,以致影响了作文的整体得分,现对学生作文中的常见错误进行简要归纳,并举以实例,希望能够提醒学生在以后的作文训练中避免类似的错误,争取拿到应得的分数。

一、单词运用错误

1.名词。写作中,学生们常把握不好名词的数、所有格以及一些集合名词的用法。

(1) He made a great progress in his English./ He told me a good news yesterday.

上面两句中progress和news都是不可数名词。

(2) My family is watching TV.

family为集合名词,强调集合中每个个体的个人行为,则用复数的谓语动词。

2.冠词

(1) The boss wants to hire an useful person.

用a还是an,取决于后面单词的第一个音标,如为元音用an,为辅音用a。useful的第一个音是辅音所以应把an改为a。

(2) He played a piano at the party yesterday.

把a 改为the ,因为乐器前用定冠词。

3.代词

(I have two sisters). One is fond of classical music while another likes light music.

another 是指三者以上,而the other 是指两者之间。

4.形容词和副词

形容词和副词容易被误用,形容词和副词的比较级和最高级也是应注意的重点。

(1) The artist worked hardly to finish his drawings on time.

此句需要一个副词来修饰,hardly是副词,但意为“几乎不”,hard 也可以是副词,表努

力。

(2) This is as an interesting a story as the one in the magazine.

as … as中间的词序是as加上形容词加上a(n)加上名词再加上as,因此应改为as

interesting a story as the one.

5.介词

与介词有关的一些习惯用语或固定搭配的错误,例如:

in 3.12,1999正确:on March 12,1999

at/in age of 12正确:at the age of 12

under the help of him. 正确:with the help of him

6.动词

(1)动词的语态。及物动词用在主动语态时要有宾语,因此可以变为被动语态;不及物

动词用于主动语态时不能接宾语,因此无被动语态。

①After the fire, nothing was remained.

remain 是不及物动词不应该用被动,应该将此句改为:After the fire, nothing remained

②Some places lack of water.

lack是及物动词可以直接加宾语,此句应改为Some places lack water.

(2) 动词的时态。动词的时态一般根据上下文和时间状语来确定时态。

① Sb./Sth. had done sth. the other day.

the other day “几天前”一般与过去式连用,所以应该改为Sb/Sth did sth the other day.

② In the past 3 years I had read a lot of English novels.

In the past/last 3 years 应该与现在完成时连用。

③It won't be long before you'll regret.

before 后面加的是时间状语从句,要用一般现在时代替将来时。

(3)非谓语动词

①We are going to talk about the problem discussing at the last meeting.

此处为分词作定语,问题应该被讨论,所以把discussing改为discussed。

② She decided to work harder in order to not fall behind the others.

不定式的否定把not放在to前面。

③I will get somebody repair the recorder for you.

让某人做某事:get sb to do sth.

二、句型运用错误

1.名词性从句

(1) I wonder that what the professor will say.

在名词性从句中that后面加的是陈述句, 特殊疑问句和疑问句之前都不需要加that。

(2) I am aware of that the animals are in danger of dying out.

of 后面不可以加that 引导的宾语从句。

(3) You must bear what in mind that learning English well is a long process.

这句中bear 的宾语是由that引导的从句。

2.状语从句

(1)Although he tried, but he still couldn’t keep up with the others.

although 和but 不能同时用在一句话中。

(2)I won’t stay until he comes back.

含有not…until的句子的谓语动词应是短暂动词,含有until的肯定句的动词应是延续性

动词。

(3) He came to public attention, for the first time he acted in the film.

for the first time 是一个副词词组后面不能加从句,所以应该将for去掉。

3.定语从句

(1) There is a point where we must insist on.

此句中point在定语句子中做定语,应该用that或直接省略。

(2) I don’t like the way where he treats his students.

当先行词way表示“方式”、“方法”时,引导定语从句用in which, that 或不填。

(3)This is such a difficult problem that no one can work out.

“such...as...”表“像……这(那)样”的意思,引导定语从句,as在定语从句中充当

主、宾、表语等。

4.主谓一致

(1) Every boy and every girl have a book.

代词each和由every, no, any等构成的复合代词作主语,或主语中含有each, every,谓

语需用单数。

(2) More than one student are going to attend the meeting.

“more than one +名词"作主语时,谓语动词常用单数。

(3) The teacher together with some students are visiting the factory.

当主语后面跟有together with时,谓语动词与前面的主语一致。

5.倒装

(1) Here is coming a bus.

here 放于句首时,句子主谓要完全倒装,但句子不能用进行时。

(2) So seriously he was hurt that he had to quit his job.

so /such ……that句型构成部分倒装句。

(3) A child as he is, he can speak five languages.

用as引导让步状语从句,可把形容词、副词和不带冠词的名词放于as前。

6.情态动词和虚拟语气

(1) My suggestion is that we would send a few people to help them.

suggestion 的表语从句也应用虚拟语气,必须用should加动词原形,should可以省略。

(2) The secretary wishes that she has time to type the letter now.

wish 后的时态应该把真实时态往后推一个时态,所以把has改为had。

(3) It’s time that we go to bed.

句式为It’s time sb did sth 所以把 go 改为 went。

7.there be句式

There were several people stood at the back of the room.

这种错误在学生业余作文中非常常见。There be句式的谓语动词为be动词,句中其他的

动词应为非谓语动词。
