教学设计——Book论文_张晓莉

一、整体设计思路

本节课选自模块6第3单元A Healthy life。作为该单元的第4课时,课型为reading and discussing,其中结合视频和阅读的处理,整节课的设计分为5个环节。

1.导入环节。通过复习单词来引出今天的主题“HIV AND AIDS”。

2.热身环节。运用“头脑风暴”积极调动学生的词汇储备和知识储备。

3.听力环节。通过观看视频,对学生补充新的信息,让学生了解HIV病毒和艾滋病的严重性,明白我们每个人都有可能被传染。激发学生的好奇心,想要了解更多关于艾滋病的信息。

4.阅读环节。通过阅读材料,让学生了解艾滋病病毒的传播途径及预防艾滋病的方法。

5.讨论环节。让学生分组讨论两个问题:

(1)如果在餐馆里,你发现坐在你旁边的人是一个艾滋病患者,你现在会怎么做?

(2)我们可以为艾滋病人做些什么?

二、教学背景分析

教学内容分析:本节课是教材上的using language,话题为HIV病毒与艾滋病,学生们对于HIV病毒和艾滋病并不是非常了解,理解起来教材中的阅读材料就显得非常困难,所以我在本课加入了动画视频,可以让学生更直观地了解HIV病毒和艾滋病。

学生情况分析:所教授的是高一七班学生,学生英语基本功比较薄弱,但是能够积极思考,并勇于表达,大部分的学生虽然对HIV病毒和艾滋病话题很感兴趣,但对HIV病毒和艾滋病知识知之甚少,因此,在课堂上需要充分利用艾滋病的可怕性特点来激发学生的学习兴趣。

三、教学目标分析

1.了解艾滋病病毒的传播途径及预防艾滋病的方法。

2.增强预防艾滋病的能力和自我保护意识,培养学生健康的生活方式。

3.使学生能够正确对待艾滋病人,学会关爱艾滋病病毒携带者和艾滋病人,帮助他们的生活,给予他们情感的关怀,消除歧视。

四、教学重点,难点分析

教学重点:了解艾滋病的传播途径及预防艾滋病的方法。

教学难点:改变学生们对艾滋病人的态度与看法,并真正地在生活中关注艾滋病人。

五、教学过程设计

Step 1:Warming up(10mins)

(1)Review some important words in this unit by playing a game.

(2)Brainstorming:How much do you know about HIV and AIDS?

Step 2:Listening(5mins)

Watch a video and let students know that HIV and AIDS can affect anyone,any age,any gender,any race,any religion.

Step 3:Reading(20mins)

(1)Fast reading:

Skim the passage and think about how many parts the text can be divided into.

Scan the passage and then match each part with the main idea.

(2)Careful reading:

Read part 1 and then answer the following questions.

What’s a virus?what can it cause?

How does HIV affect people’s health?

What is the difference between HIV and AIDS?

What are the two ways HIV can be spread?

Read part 2&3 and then have a competition(The first person who raise his/her hand and answer the question correctly will win one point for his/her group).

Step 4:Discussion(8mins)

Divide students into groups and discuss the two questions.

If you meet a person with AIDS in a restaurant and he/she sits next to you,what will you do?

What can we do to help those who have HIV/AIDS?

What are the two ways HIV can be spread?

Read part 2&3 and then have a competition(The first person who raise his/her hand and answer the question correctly will win one point for his/her group).

Step 5:Homework(2mins)

Make a poster to tell others the information about HIV and AIDS so as to make more people know about HIV/AIDS.
