摘 要：对于初三学生来说，掌握英语写作的基本知识和基本要点是关键。要严格按照作文的提示内容写作，不能意发挥，也不能逐字翻译所给材料。学生只要能抓住文中所给材料的信息和要求，用自己熟悉的句子进行表达即可，只要同学们能把题中规定的要点全部表达清楚而无遗漏，同时再做到语意连贯，便是一篇优秀的英文写作。

一、作文前
1.审题。判断用何种时态。
2.判断文体（即格式)。
3.把握文章中要写的重点词汇、重点句型、重点短语（题目中常常会给出的一些词汇和句型）。
4.根据题目中给出的每一点，可适当拓展、发挥。完善你要写的文章。
二、作文中
1.整理思路，做到条理清晰，结构分明。
2.正确使用材料中给出的词汇及短语，若遇到自己没把握的，可以写同义词或近义词。
3.灵活使用英语中的时态问题。
4.少用修正带和涂黑点。可轻轻拉掉写错内容即可。
5.书写要写好，单词与单词之间有一个字母的间距。注意标点符号的正确使用。
三、作文后
1.检查动词是否该加“s”“ed”“ing”或不加。
2.检查词性、语法、句型是否使用正确。
3.最后，进行作文复查，必须是在保证卷面整洁的前提下修改。记住：卷面整洁不一定要加分，但卷面不整洁一定会扣分。
