一、系动词be的一般现在时
系动词be的一般现在时有三个：am/is/are，表示“是”的意思。分别用在不同人称的主语之后，口诀为：I用am，you用are，单数用is连着他he，她she，它it，复数全用are。
如：I am…….You are…….He is…….She is…….It is…….LiMing is…….We are…….You are…….They are…….
二、be动词的全写与缩写
I am=I’m，You are=You’re，she is=she’s，he is =he’s，it is=it’s，We are=we’re，they’re=they are，that is=that’s，those are=those’re。
三、不能缩写的三种情况
am，is，are在句末不能缩写；am和not不能缩写成为一个单词；This和is也不能缩写为一个单词。
如：Yes，I am.No，I’m not.This is my pencil.(无缩写)
四、be动词肯定句句型的结构
主语+be动词（am/is/are）+表语。
如：I am Helen.He is Jack.This is my pencil.These are our books.
五、be动词句型变一般疑问句
be动词句型变一般疑问句时，第一人称通常变为第二人称。

be动词句型变否定句，在am，is，are后面加not，可全写也可缩写。变否定句的人称不用变。

七、be动词句型的特殊疑问句句型
疑问词+be动词（am/is/are）+主语...? 即疑问词后面跟一般疑问句。
如：What is this? What are these in English? How are you? How is your father?
八、There is/There are“有”，用于表示某物或某人的存在
1.There be的肯定句句型:
（1）There is+单数名词(就近原则)+表示地点/场所的词或短语。
（２）There are+复数名词(就近原则)+表示地点/场所的词或短语。
如：There is a pen and two books on the table.There are two books and a pen on the table.
2.There be的否定句句型：
在is，are后面加not，可全写也可缩写。它的一般疑问句句型，特殊疑问句句型和像be句型一样。
如：There isn’t a pen on the table. There aren’t two books on the table.Is there a pen on the table? Are there two books on the table? How many pens are there on the table? How much water is there in the cup?
九、Here倒装句的句型
Here is+单数名词，Here are+复数名词。主语为名词时，动词放在名词之前；主语为代词时，动词放在代词之后。
如：Here are two books.(名词之前) Here you are.(代词之后) Here we are!（代词之后） Here he comes.
十、系动词be的一般过去时
系动词be的一般过去时两个was/were。单数用was，复数用were。You无论单复数都用were。am/is过去式was， are过去式were.系动词be一般过去时was和were的用法与现在时am、is、are的用法大同小异。
如：He was American two years ago.He wasn’t American.Was he American.They were Americans.They weren’t Americans.Were they Americans?
